Mission
To restore the ecological, social and economic potential of landscapes, by planting trees with local farmers, communities and partner organizations.

About us
To restore the ecological, social and economic potential of landscapes, by planting trees with local farmers, communities and partner organizations.
A world with ecological, social and economic health. We see tree planting as crucial to achieving that goal, and companies as a key part of getting there.
We connect corporations, NGOs and sponsors with landowners and planters in the Netherlands, Spain and sub-Saharan Africa - and prove every tree with a GPS location, a photo and the planter's name.
Core values
Every tree gets a GPS tag, a photo and the name of the person who planted it. Proof of work, not promises.
We link sponsors, NGOs and companies directly to landowners and planters on the ground.
Pragmatic and bottom-up. We plant as many native trees as possible, and we keep tracing them for life.
Local farmers and communities earn an income from restoration, so landscapes stay standing.
History
It starts with a tree planting action in Amsterdam West: an idea to give apartment blocks trees, so residents can enjoy everything a tree brings.
For every tree in the city, a tree for landscape restoration. We start planting with partners in Africa - a real win-win-win.
Registered as an ANBI foundation with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce.
Covid makes city planting hard, so we focus on landscape restoration at scale in Spain and beyond.
City planting is back - now mostly inside educational projects, in the same regions where we plant at scale.
